How to size T Shirts

How to get the correct size for your T Shirts and other garments.

Most T Shirt sizes are based on a "half chest" or width measurement when the shirt is lying flat on a table, see example below

We all have a t shirt we know fits us well, so why not use that as your guide, you can also use your size to judge other peoples sizes.

To ensure you have the correct size for you, get your own shirt, lay if flat on a table and measure across the chest just under the arm pits.

This will give you your size in half chest.
These sizes are listed on the product page

If in dought always choose the next size up, better too have a shirt slightly too big rather than too small, espesially in the larger sizes.

We get a lot of people ordering childrens t shirts and giving the sizes 12, 14, 16 years
This dose not really work as the image below demonstrates.

Jack and Jill are both 12 years old but should have different size shirts. This is why even children's sizes are listed as S, M, L, XL and sometime YS,YL etc, the Y meaning youth.

You need to use the method above to get the correct sizes for childrens t shirts
